I felt worried. It was a new year at a new school. I didn’t know what was going to happen. I was thinking it was going to be a bad year because I never have a perfect year. I had just finished taking a cold shower. I was dressed heading for the stairs.
As soon as I got to the bottom of the stairs, I saw my lovely mother, my arrogant stepfather, and my Barbie doll sister. When I got to the refrigerator, everyone said, “Good morning Audrey.” I gave them a quick grimace, and then walked out the door. When I opened the door, I noticed it was gloomy outside.
